Swaddle help!
My daughter is almost 9 months and I'm still swaddling her. I know- big no no. I just don't have any clue how to stop. I usually give her a bottle and swaddle her and she falls asleep. Lately- like the last two or three weeks she's only been sleeping 3 hour stretches- sometimes 4 or 5 but mostly 3. I know there's a growth spurt that probably is happening but I tried not swaddling her tonight and the second I put her in the crib she's wide awake. She sat in the crib for a bit then started crying after about 15 minutes. It broke my hear hearing her cry because it wasn't just a fake cry. So I went in and fed her then swaddled her. Back to square one. Feeling like a failure and having my husband think it's as easy as just "not swaddling her" is killing me. Any advice is much appreciated! Needless to say- were pregnant again and this next child will be done with the swaddle before the crib. Ughhh!!! 😩😩😩
