Sleep training during the 4 month regression?
My baby girl is going through the regression. She is very stubbornly fighting her naps during the day and at night I normally rock her to sleep and then put her in her crib. She's started to wake every 30-60 mins and it's driving me crazy. I spend more time in my rocking chair than in my bed! Everything I've read online about this regression says that now is the time to sleep train in order to teach them to self soothe so that when they wake during their light sleep phase every 30-60 mins they can get themselves back off to sleep with minimal fuss.
So I'm wondering if any of you tried sleep training during this regression and if it helped? I know it will be tough for the first few nights and even weeks but it seems like it's the best thing to do going forward? I only really know the cry it out method, what others are there and can you explain what I need to do?
Thanks in advance!!
