Are you able to be excited in your first tri?

I'm so scared to miscarriage. I don't think I can fully get excited till I pass the first trimester.

I'm 8 weeks now and I'm starting to feel less nervous now. I've seen the heart beating on an ultrasound and that helped a lot! Just try to stay positive and not worry too much!

I finally started feeling a little safer around 10 weeks, and I had ultrasounds every week starting at 7w. Now I'm almost 12, feeling very optimistic, but not out of the woods yet...doing NT testing tomorrow and still waiting for results of my genetic screen, but so far, both babies are doing awesome!!!

Same here! 5 weeks and super nervous it's making it hard to enjoy. Have my first scan in 2 weeks!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that feels this way. I am a huge worrier in general and I've been having a little cramping so yeah I've been worrying like a mad person. I'm trying to just have faith and trust that everything will be ok. I'm not very good at it.

Uhh no. I have been having a pretty awesome pregnancy so far (no MS, minor discomfort, always tired though)and am kinda waiting for the other shoe to drop. My DH tells me to just think positive but I am TERRIFIED that I'll miscarry. I'm 11w4d today and reading that others have miscarried around now isn't helping. I just want this little one so badly.  We are taking our announcement photo tomorrow and I guess I'm just freaking out for no reason. Baby has a strong heartbeat, heard and seen twice. I'm not showing and the hardness around my pubic bone comes and goes troughout the day. Sorry this is so long. Didn't meant to rant/vent but I am glad you asked this question. I hope you can feel excited. God Bless.

I total agree. I feel the same way. I feel so guilty when I talk about it or tell others for fear that it will jinx me and cause a miscarriage.

The thing that helps me is I pray every day for God to protect our unborn child. It def helps me keep calm

You are not the only one. You are absolutely spot on. It almost doesn't feel real or like I don't want to get my hopes up until the next 6 weeks are over.

I'm 5 weeks and so nervous and worried! I want to get really excited and jump for joy but I feel like I can't. It took me 2 years to conceive and I'm feeling overwhelmed with so many mixed emotions! I don't know how I am gonna get through the next 7 weeks until I have a scan! X

I'm at almost 11 weeks and still worry, it's tough, but all I can do is think that I can't do anything about it either way, and hope for the best!
