I need advice

I've been with my fiancé for 11 going on 12 years. (since high school) We are officially getting married next year! He's a great father and husband! Anything I asks he does it with no 2nd guessing! My whole family loves him & and his family loves me! The only thing is, when he's angry, it's no calming him down until he sit and thinks about it! He has never psychically hit me but he does throw things ( his phone or laptop). He's mostly angry over small things! Me forgetting to leave the door unlocked or the way I style my daughters hair! We would have a disagreement and I give him the silent treatment and it's like it just ticks him! I'm asking advice if this is something I should be worried about or it's just a "guy thing"
