Terrified for induction

Today was my appointment and doctor said that it will be likely that I will get induced next Wednesday because that day I'll be 40 weeks.

I'm terrified because I want to have a natural birth and I don't want a c-section unless it's REALLY necessary. I don't know what to expect that day, I want to be in charge of my body and I want to be capable of push my baby, but I heard so many stories of people getting induced and ending having a csection.

Today in the app, apparently, the baby its finally getting in the birth canal and the doctor was able to feel the baby's head, but apparently I'm not dilated.

Please, please, please any advice!!!
