PLEASE HELP ( UPDATED )
I'm 18 and still attached to my parents healthcare. I was on the phone with my doctor about birth control. She said she would prescribe me some birth control pills and they'd be ready for me to pick up whenever I decide to. Usually I tell her that it is confidential, but I forgot to tell her this time. Will my birth control pill prescription show on my parents healthcare statement ? Very urgent. I don't plan on picking them up any time soon, she just placed the prescription in case I decided to change my birth control method.
I go to Kaiser Permanente btw*** I'm just scared that even if I don't pick up the prescription my parents will see that my doctor put in the request for me. My parents are not aware that I am sexually active as well. They have high expectations from me, esp being the only daughter.
UPDATE: also Id like to say that I got the Nexplanon in a few months ago and I requested that it be confidential. My parents have not told me anything of being listed inside their insurance. Also in January I was prescribed antibiotics for a UTI and Plan B.. that was not listed as well. Does it just come down to if I told them to make it confidential ?
