What should Sally do?

B 🌻 • Mommy to a sweet baby boy 💙

I'll use fake names to help tell the story better lol

So Sally married Bob.

They had two kids together and Bob let Sally be a stay at home mom and payed for EVERYTHING while he was gone away constantly for work.

One day, Sally has a feeling she's being cheated on.

Sally asks around Bob's family and friends, and discovers it's true. Sally is devastated because she would never see this happen to her.

Sally snoops and finds out Bob has an entire differently family. A house, two kids, and a girlfriend. Bob spends his time here while he's away at work.

As a devoted Christian woman, Sally decides to forgive him, remain married to Bob and let him do as he pleases, and just waits until her children are 18 to cut herself off. Bob didn't want to get the law involved and child support and all that, so he's financially supporting them til the kids are 18. He's pretty well off, so this was not a problem for him.

Sally has recently been through a lot. A loss of a good friend, self esteem issues, etc. She booked a week's vacation to New York with her kids. Halfway through the vacation, she receives a call saying that Bob got hurt very badly in a car accident and needs immediate care for when he gets home - which is a couple of days into her vacation. Bob's other family is nowhere to be heard of.

Sally decides she's going to finish her vacation and then see what she can do. Her kids are starting school a state away from where Bob lives in 10 days. She said she will try her best to help but isn't in a rush.

What would you do in this situation? Would you be like Sally?

This story is about my aunt and uncle. My dad said it's selfish of Sally to leave Bob like that high and dry when he supports them so much financially, but I say Bob kinda had it coming to him with the lies and the cheating. Why not call his other woman to help? 😒
