Whining and 'tude at 6 months

Any other mom's experiencing this? Is it common? Lately my son whines to protest EVERYTHING he doesn't like. Cleaning boogers out of his nose? Whine. Can't get the boob out fast enough when he's ready to eat? Whine. Try to take his spoon from his mouth so I can feed him? Whine. And it's not a quiet protest either- he's loud! 😂I love him with all of my heart, but for the love of god please tell me this is just a phase!
