New to group..need to share

I have 2 kids from a previous marriage and recently remarried a wonderful man who does not have children of his own. Having a child together would be a huge blessing to our family. However, since I just turned 40 I'm nervous. I had my IUD removed and my doctor told me I need to have at least 2 regular period cycles before attempting to get pregnant to build up the lining in my uterus. I haven't had a period yet but anxious to start trying to conceive. I have so many emotions going through me it's hard to describe.
