Trying to remain positive

Yesterday, I posted about my boss deciding to close down the business I work for. I work for a small newspaper. She had accepted ads up until next month, so she really won't be able to close down at the end of this month but I don't think she's realized that. Her decision to close down was very spur of the moment and I won't be surprised if she changes her mind. I've decided to start looking for another job now and to leave as soon as possible. Her daughter is one of my coworkers. She was very angry yesterday and didn't even talk to her mom (my boss). I overheard some of the calls she made yesterday. She's planning on moving with some relatives that live outside the US and she's going to leave as soon as possible. I never really meant to stay at this company this long. I've been working here for 19-20 years. My boss and her daughter always bring in their personal problems with each other and try to get me in the middle. I tell them leave me out of it. I'll be glad when I find a new job because then I won't have to deal with their drama. My parents offered to help me financially. My bills are almost paid off. I don't have to worry about supporting any kids. I've never had a vacation so my mom wants me to take a little time and rest before finding a new job. But I would rather find a job right a way because I'm use to always working.

My boss is also trying to open a car wash, flip houses and start a skin care line. All those are costing her more money before they even make money. The newspaper is the only one making really good money. I just think it's really stupid to close the newspaper and not give up the ones that are costing her more.
