11 month old baby...fever?

Question

My 11 month old baby has a fever temperature of 100.6 F. Should I take him to the doctor or give him pain/ fever reducer medicine? Checked with forehead thermometer.

i would just do some tylenol or motrin. it depends on what the other symptoms are or it just a fever. is teething a possibility. My baby girl just started teething, her teeth are breaking through the gums and she has had a fever the past few days.
