My mom would've never had children and I would've never been born if she didn't get pregnant as a teenager. She had me at 16 and my brother at 17. When she turned 19 she had to get an emergency hysterectomy.

Depends on what you classify as teen 
18-19 not bad 17 at the very very youngest any younger then that and I feel like you are not ready and can't have a good job enough or a stable income to support a child 
(At 16 people here can get a full time apprenticeship and get paid a fair amount often 300-400$ depending on where the apprenticeship is and every year you get older your pay rises, not sure if this is like everywhere else)

I'm 19 and pregnant and voted yes. I know it's hypocritical for me to say but like I said, I'm 19, married, we own our own house, live my ourselves, work, and are financially stable. I know there are a few exceptions to teen moms that are still in high school that work really hard and all that, but honestly, if you don't have your life together and you're bringing a child into this world, its very possible it could have negative affects on your life as well as your babies. I've known a girl who is a year older than me with three kids, single, and living off the government and handouts. I also know mothers who got pregnant in high school and did just fine. Either way, I think it's better to be prepared financially and in your life before you have a child.

I am 32 and have a 16 year old and voted yes. I do not regret my daughter, but I always say if I could go back and have my same child later, I would. I was 15 when I became pregnant with her. Her father and I married, had two more children and stayed together for 15 years. She's turned out amazing, and I have always taken wonderful care of my children but looking at my baby at 16, the last thing I would want for her is to become a mother at this age.

I think it's absolutely ridiculous that people had said yes! I was pregnant at 17 in a very stable relationship and in full time education, had my child at 18 and I'm not 19 with a 9 month old baby girl and my life couldn't be better!! People presume that teen moms don't work or aren't gonna be good role models for their child it's Ludicrous! I understand that in some cases teen moms do struggle but who doesn't? It's awful how much teen moms get slandered.
