When's the right time to tell?

I'm 20 & have known for about a week that I'm pregnant.. right now I'm at the end of my 7th week. When is the right time to tell my parents. Or anyone. (Only me & the father know right now)

Thanks everyone really appreciate the feedback.. I have my first appointment the 25th hoping an ultrasound is done since I'll be at the end of my 9th week (I've had a confirmation appointment already at the beginning of week 6. But no ultrasound was done)

We waited until I was 17 weeks to tell everyone. I wasn't showing much before then and was wearing regular t shirts almost every day. We told everyone on our two year anniversary and everyone was so shocked we kept it a secret for so long. It was definitely hard because a couple times I almost slipped up and said something to people who didn't know 😅 no one was mad though that we kept it in for so long. They understood why we did it and everyone is so excited

You tell them when you think you are ready, don't let someone tell you when to do it and you end up not felling comfortable. You will know when your ready to tell them, go with your gut.

Common advice is after 12wks. In case something happens, so you dont need to announce something heartbreaking. Its personal preference though. I hide my first until my doctor threatened me because I was 16. lol. My second I told everyone right away and nearly regretted it as there was a span of 2wks that I thought I lost it after my initial ultrasound showed an empty sac. I was actually only 4wks, and it was too early too see. I will never announce early after that. I was completely devastated. I'd never want to share that with very many people and not right away.

I'm just late on my period , and announced to my parents that we might be preggers lol

I found out when I was 3 weeks and told my parents straight away but told the rest of my family and my partner family around 8 weeks xx
