I'm SO scared of tearing during childbirth. I know sometimes it's inevitable, but I'm just looking for advice. Besides perineal massage is there anything that helps prevent tearing?
If you tore please answer:
1. How big was your baby?
2. Was there a reason besides the baby coming out on its own that caused the tear?
3. Did you try to prevent it with massage?
4. Did you have a 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th degree tear?
