Cold sore?

Hello, i recently saw this bump on the side of my mouth about 3 days ago. Since i have a picking problem i kept picking it and it turned into a scab. This is what it looks like now, i havent been able to stop picking but ive got control and i havent done it as much. I apologize for the gross picture but if anyone could identify this it would really help. :) p.s i would like to say that i have never had any form of sex so i dont think it would be anything like that. Thanks for the help :)
