Took BBT twice, which one should I take?

I took it twice. 97.3. Took it immediately again. 97.6. I obviously stuck with the higher temp... [UPDATE: I just averaged the first 2 temps. I toss and turn at night so this whole thing is never really accurate anyways.]

Only temp that matters is the one you take first thing in the morning before talking or moving. Needs to be done at the exact same time everyday, otherwise your chart will be all over the place

Basal Body Temperature actually means the basic temp your body holds to keep you alive. To record it you must have had a solid three hours of deep sleep & you must take your temp the second you open your eyes, no talking, no moving, no getting out of bed, no looking at your phone. As soon as you wake your temp will start to rise to give you energy to start the day & won't be a correct reading. Take it once & record it in your app. Don't stress & take it more times because your results will be different as you are no longer in a state of rest. 
Then you will be able to see how your hormones fluctuated during your cycle including ovulation.
