Effectiveness of plan b?

1 week ago my bf & I had protected sex but I was scared the condom might've ripped so I took a plan b the next day & my period ended a few days ago. Yesterday, he slept over & he brought a small pack of condoms (3) & we finished them all. Around 2 a.m. We did it again & I hadn't realized he didn't use one since we had ran out. He didn't cum in me but either way, I will be taking another plan b today. Will the effectiveness be affected by the short time in between the last time I took one?

Btw: I don't want to get on bc because i hate shots, I don't want the implant & when I was on the pill, my body reacted to them & I'd throw up

I've also heard bad stories about the patch & feel like it's a bit less reliable
