Need advice

I got a IUD in February 2017, the whole first month was extremely painful to where I had visited the ER they said it was just cramps and I was over reacting. Fast forward it's only painful at certain points but now it is just a sharp stabbing pain everyday. I want to get it removed but my husband doesn't want to risk pregnancy, I'm ok with the chances as I've tried the pill and shots already. I don't know if I should just have it removed or just leave it. Any advice??
