Frustrated with sex sometimes

So my husband and I have been together for 8 years. Before I met him I didn't talk about sex with anyone. No he isn't my first. While on birth control it was like I never wanted sex cause I was never in the mood, and when we did he always wanted me to get kinky and it would ruin the mood for me cause I didn't understand what he meant and when I would ask him what he meant he would say idk and want me to come up with something he still does this from time to time even though he know that when I was younger my mom was always drilling into my head that anal, blow jobs and being kinky etc where wrong. Now we are trying to start a family but he doesn't want me to track anything and it's frustrating. I can tell him I'm in the mood and it's like he doesn't care but if he's in the mood it's a big deal if I don't want to do anything.
