Tcc for the first time

Okay ladies! I'm tcc for the first time and I want to know basically everything there is or I need to know! I've been trying to log my cm for the past few months to get ready for this. I've never been on bc of any kind so I'm hoping that helps me some. Can you tell me what days I need to look for on my cm? How many hours/days should I for sure try? Where do you get your ovulation test that are cheap? Everything or anything I've left out? :)
