Gallbladder problems

Have any of you had to get it removed? What were your symptoms? I'm going to the dr soon I just would like to go in with an idea of where to start looking. This constant nausea, and stomach pains/cramps is too much for me to handle any longer.

You can always do a gallbladder cleanse if you don't want it removed, although it's not guaranteed to work. It's really quite nasty though.

Had mine out at the age of 17. Best decision ever. It was only functions 13%. I had sharp pains and had an actual gallbladder attack. Made me sick to eat anything

that's me, and I can't even drink one glass of wine without puking all night, which is definitely not like me lol. I've been eating better food and it seems to feel better moat of the time but when it hurts it hurts bad and for like a week straight

I had mine removed thanksgiving of 2013. Everything I ate I ended up with bad stomach pains. I was in the emergency room every night until they finally decided to remove it. Recovery was about two weeks. You'll feel a lot better once it's removed.

Mine was removed years ago. I had a really bad attack and couldn't eat or drink for 2 weeks. It was laproscopic surgery. I was told I had no choice and had to have it out, or risk a worse attack in the future. I was so dehydrated from the attack that they told me when I got to the ER that my veins would have collapsed if I had waited any longer.
