LPN program? (questions for lpn students/lpns)

Not sure where to post this but I am a 25 year old  mom of two (a 6 month old and a 6 year old) I am at home raising our two children. But My husband and I have been talking and I want to go back to school, I love the medical field and have my CNA license so I'm looking into becoming a LPN. I really don't care for hospitals and rather work at clinics preferably OBGYN.  So I have questions 😬
 - How did you start your journey to working towards your LPN? Is the program hard? Is there a lot of math? And is there still job opportunities for LPNs?

I am a current Lpn working as a float nurse in various clinics. I work with just a provider or in a team setting with a RN. There is some math involved in your classes for drug calculations, but a lot of your schooling is hands on which is great. I love working in the clinic setting bc it means no nights, weekends or holidays. My husband is a professional firefighter so it's perfect for working around his schedule. I am currently going back to school for my bachelors.

I work at a home health agency with some LPNs. So that's another option.

Most Obgyn's want RN. My best friend and her husband are both LPNs and they hate it because they cannot find work unless it's at a nursing home or prison and even then, they prefer RN.  
I know quite a few LPNs who either went back for RN or went to be other things (like respiratory therapy) because it's hard to find work

My friend just became a Lpn most lpn work
In nursing home and assisted living my mil in a lpn and she works in the prison...it is a lot of math I was helping my friend study but if you want to do it you have to be all in and don't give up
