So a couple years ago my husband was in an accident at work that he ended up getting a settlement for. We needed a new vehicle and decided we would buy one with the settleme t money. It was our chance to get a newer vehicle we could depend on. We weren't even engaged yet so I asked him to please not get a flatbed truck, an old truck or a diesel. What did he get? That's right an 02 diesel flatbed truck. I was livid but couldn't do much about it since we were just dating then (but living together). I told him that old truck was going to make us go broke because it was going to have a lot more maintenance issues due to the age. I also told him the parts to replace would be way more expensive. He assured me it would be fine. Now here we are married with 3 old vehicles and none of them are reliable. Our newest is the 02 truck. We constantly have at least 1 broken down. I know I should be over it by now but it still makes me crazy because I told him all of this would happen and he got it anyways. Everytime the truck breaks i get livid all over again.

We can't afford a new vehicle now and so when we have our first baby the truck that's constantly broken down will be the only "family" vehicle we have. He doesn't seem to care that I will be just stranded at home a lot once a baby is here and it sucks. ughhh rant over
