sex after birth?

I'm curious as to when you ladies had sex after birth? I've read some posts on here saying they had sex after a week or 2 and I'm just here mortified to even think about sex right now lol. My husband has been trying to talk me into having sex and I'm only 2 weeks pp, but no way am I having sex 🙃

I waited 4 months both times and it still hurt so bad smh.  worst then losing my virginity.  I sucked loooots of dick in the meantime though.  Suck that dick girl.  Let you pum pum heal

All depends on how your feeling physically. If your not ready don't. You want your body to heal correctly. Don't rush it!

I heard it's 6 weeks. Listen to your body. If you don't feel ready then I wouldn't do it. Do it with caution when you do.

We tried 5 weeks PP and it hurt, so we had to stop.  I went along with it at 5 weeks bc I felt so bad for my saint of a husband. I seriously had one of the easiest deliveries ever: I only pushed for 10 minutes, had minimal tearing. I don't know how people even think about sex before the one month mark.  My OB said I looked great, like I never even gave birth, a week after the unsuccessful attempt to have sex. We tried again around 8 weeks and it was better, as in I wasn't in pain but I wasn't quite into it. I don't think I really wanted it until the 6 month mark.

I had a 2nd degree tear and it was bloody awful so i think it was around 8 weeks or more when we tried and it still was uncomfortable for months after that

I had a second degree tear with stitches. Waited for the all clear at my 6 week appointment and all was good and healed. Had sex that night and it was amazing! The long build up definitely contributed lol.

I think with our last 2 we did it around 4-6 weeks. I'm 10 days PP with our third right now and I wanna get it ooooon! Lmao but I won't. I still can't even wipe when I pee I just dab and I'm obviously still bleeding so yeah.. No. 😂 You should at least wait until you're not bleeding anymore Bc of risk of infection. My friend had sex too soon and got a bad infection that landed her in the ER and almost killed her. That's a true story! I'll prob wait till I'm cleared at 6 weeks then if it hurts I'll call it off and try again at 8. Hopefully not though.
