We have my step son 4x a week every 2 weeks and my partner has offered his sister and his mom an over night so they can build a bond. His sister had him last month over night and asked if they can do it more often and he said yes but he wants to offer his mom time too! So this weekend is his birthday and he invited his mom on the day out we had planned and she said she can't afford to pay in so we offer to pay her in and she refuses saying she can take us and come back to collect so we left it at that then my OH says "would you like him over night on the Friday night then?" And she says "hmmm no not really hes still too young; I'll have him when he's a bit older" he's 3 coming! She has my oh nephews from they were 1 over night an still babysits them! I don't know if it's because my oh son was with a random girl and he never knew about him to last year or what it is but I feel so bad for him. I'm also afraid that when we have a baby if she does that, I won't be keeping my mouth shut!
