Advice

Okay so I'm only 20 years old and have absolutely no sexual experience whatsoever. I recently started going out with a friend who I am convinced is my soul mate (I know super cheesy). Whenever he tries anything physical I immediately put up walls even though of course I want him. How do I move past this?
