2 cats better than 1???

So this is my kitten Shadow. I got her at 6 weeks old, too young i know. She had 5 sisters, i wanted 1 of her siblings also but she was the last one left. She is now 4 months old and has been getting very bored. It doesnt matter how much i play with her she is bored. At night she gets into everything. So I'm thinking of getting her a brother or sister. Any tips on bringing another kitten into the house? Do i need to get the new kitten it's own cat tree? Do they need seperate bowls or share? need 2 litter boxes? Any advice welcome.
