help - faint line- then beg and now spotting

Had a 3 day short period. Heavy for the first 2 days then got light on the 3rd and stopped for the 3/4 day then now since then on day 7 and from day 4-now I have been spotting and pink/ brown discharge that's creamy. Very very confused. Went to the dr and they did a pee test yesterday and said it was negative. What is going on?! I had a faint line the day before I started 7 days ago. When will this pink discharge go away if I'm not? I'm so confused
