16 dpo - bfn ... question???

Has anyone gotten a bfn at 16 dpo but still got a BFP eventually? Af was due 2 days ago but still negative tests. Feeling defeated.

Last month I was 14 days late before my period came. You just never know. I'd prepare for either outcome. I'm not trying to be negative or mean, it's just really hard to know and most doctors won't do blood tests until you are 20 days late or have had a faint positive
