Does this sound sketchy to you??

So there is a new girl coming to my school that I'm very nervous about because apparently she's a huge hoe and will probably try to get with my boyfriend. My boyfriend knows I'm very anxious about the whole situation and today told me that she dm'ed him a few days ago asking who goes to the school and if it's different than public school. He told me what she had said and what his replies were but I still had the urge to read the messages to make sure that's really what they said. I asked him about it and he said he deleted the messages because he found them to be "unimportant". This made me think a lot more because I just don't see why he would delete the messages. Does this sound weird to any of you guys??? (Note: He's also been reassuring me several times that he won't talk to her and that nothing will ever happen between them and that he loves me and only me etc.)
