I had my first mirena (which i had all five years and never had an issue with) replaced today with no problem. I remember with my first one I bled a substantial amount and then spotted for a couple months after. I've bled a bit today, and had a couple nasty clumps come out with it - are those clumps normal? Also, how long should I expect to bleed/spot with this new one? My doc said it could be a couple days to a week. If anyone has any experiences getting it replaced please let me know!
