4-5weeks - nothing on ultrasound

I got a couple of positive hpt and went to see doctor who said after doing an ultrasound that he doesn't see anything.

He said may be I am 5 weeks along which is too early to see anything. But we need to rule out ectopic.

I am on CD33 & the digital clearblue tells me I am 2-3 weeks for the conception indicator. Now I have given blood for BHCG. I need to wait a few hours for the result .

Is this alright ? I mean am I panicking unnecessarily? Does it mean everything is ok ?

Are there any chances for a hpt to show positive & BHCG to be negative. 😩 anxious

Many Thanks for reply ladies. Doctor called me a couple of hours later & informed me that my bHCG was 492 units & I am totally preggo , he said I would be about 5 weeks . Next Saturday 9/2 , which will be CD40 , Doc has asked to come for an ultrasound again.
