What should I do?

I think the left side of neck is swollen lymph node. It hurts to swallow, talk or even turn my head to the left. I don't have a doctor. Should I go to the ER? I'm not the type of person to go to the hospital. I usually just let it go but it hurts so bad. It just happened today and by the end of the night, it got much worse.

Don't mean to scare you dear,but please check it out ASAP as I too have had a enlarged swollen lymph node on the left side of my neck.Turns out it was Papillary thyroid cancer at the age of 25,originating from the thyroid then spread to the left side of my neck lymph nodes.Goodluck and God bless I hope its something small and if not,remember God will never give you something you cannot handle.Please  reachout if you have any further questions.

This is not my intervention area, but a swollen lymph gland is a sign of a very serious disease, for example, cancer.
But I'm not sure if it would appear and swollen from day to night. In many cases, the swollen lymphs come a bit later in the development of the disease

Definitely go get it checked out. Inflamed Lymph nodes are usually a natural sign your body is fighting an infection of some sort but they can indicate something more sinister, so it's always best to have them looked at. I actually have an inflamed one in my armpit right now, and my doctor sent me to radiology earlier this week... all is fine, but it's so much better knowing than worrying!

not trying to scare u but my husband has that and he had a biopsy done and to find out he has stage4 cancer please go to the er god bless u
