Anyone else Married or dating an alcoholic?

My husbad and i have been together for 10yrs and married for 7 this January.....He is an amazing provider for our family, bit he SUCKS as a husband and father to our handsome 2yr old son. I Know im not alone but i just want to know what everyone else is experiencing.

my husband is a functioning alcoholic he drinks about 6-12 beers a night sometimes he switches it out for liquor. we've been married for 8 years and although he is a good provider and I know he loves our girls he can be such an a hole when he drinks. Any time he's said something mean it's been wheb he's been drinking and then he tries to make me feel crazy when I call him out on it.. ugghhhhhh

Been with my husband for 13 years married for almost 9 and he has struggled with addiction on and off most of our relationship in secret. First was painkillers and weed then once we had our daughter he was sober for almost two years. Now he is a daily beer drinker and has been for about 5 years. I'm talking a six pack or more a day and he's horrible with money. We have three kids and I'm due with our fourth in two weeks. It's a hard situation I'm a stay at home mom and he makes the money. I just pray that he changes and grows up.

I married my ex-husband at (a naive) 22. A month later I gave birth to our son. Less than a year after we got married it became clear to me that he was an alcoholic. The alcohol abuse and mental abuse toward me only got worse. After 13 miserable and painful years I divorced him. 👏🏼
Looking back, it makes me sad that it took me so long to divorce him, and I so wish that I had done it years sooner. My son and I struggled after I moved out and his father refused to pay the spousal and child support he agreed to. 
All that being said, I am a much stronger person now and recently married an amazing, loving, strong, upstanding, hardworking and sober man with NO history of alcohol abuse.
It can be really hard to see through to fog of co-dependency and abuse, but once you do, life is soooooo much better!!

Just curious, as a wife of someone who drinks like that, what do you do every night when he opens his 8th can of beer? For years...
