SO doesn't pursue me

I'm in a 6 year relationship w a guy but we don't live together. The problem I've been having is that he refuses to come to my house & spend any time w me. He acknowledges that he does that & tells me that if I wanna see him, to get off my ass & do something about it. Meaning I have to go see him at his house if I want to see him. I don't have problem w that but he never invites me over, ever. He doesn't pursue me at all. We haven't gone on a date in over a year. We have sex maybe once every couple of months if I go to his house. He tells me that the more I complain about it, the more distant he'll become. What do I do? @Seth you're a guy, what do you suggest I do about it? I love him but I don't feel valued in this relationship. I want him to want to be w me. I don't mind going to him but it just doesn't seem right that I have to go to him anytime I want to see him.
