Tips and tricks?

I am 10 days late on my period. I spotted very little for two days when I was 2 and 3 days late. I think I'm pregnant but when I took a pregnancy test it said negative. I took it two days ago when I was 8 days late. It was just a cheap pregnancy test I got at the gas station. I have a clear blue pregnancy test but before I use it I wanted to hear any tips to get a more accurate read. So any advice?

get an 88 cent test from Wal-Mart. take the test with your first morning urine.

Take a first response instead I for a positive on my day I was supposed to start my period. But get the early response version it's more sensitive and the blue dye isn't reliable.
