Do I need new doctors? :(

Okay so question. My CD 21 progesterone was 4.. about 3 days later I found out I was pregnant. Confirmed through blood work as well. Well fast forward today and I am bleeding again with light test lines now. I think I am having a MC. I have bled the whole time. My progesterone that was taken on Thursday came back today at only 5. I have never been offered of given progesterone or anything like that. I am infuriated and blaming my MC on that. Do I need new doctors???? I'm so mad and upset as I feel this could've been prevented. What are y'alls opinions???

I've never even heard of doctors prescribing that except in extreme cases. there's not a lot to be done to prevent miscarriages. it's not like they're sitting there hoping you'll have one.

There are so many causes of a miscarriage and progesterone can be used to increase the levels since too little can result in a miscarriage. They were probably being cautious and giving it to you to try helping prevent one

Some Dr's don't prescribe progesterone unless there are multiple losses. I specifically requested it and told them I know it may not change the outcome, but at least I'll have peace of mind knowing i did everything I could to prevent a loss. My dr agreed after that. Good luck!
