Advice from Sleep Training mamas please!

I am currently sleep training my 6 month old baby per her doctor telling us to.

We've been doing it for almost a week now and it's been working wonders! We are all getting sooooo much more sleep now! I know it's only been almost a week, but she whines and cries still before actually falling asleep for a bit, and I just want to make sure I'm doing the sleep training as best as I can.

My question is, is that she takes 3 naps during the day. I hold her for all 3 because I love holding her and also sometimes when I try to put her down, she wakes up and I need her to sleep for her full nap times. So I hate risking her waking up by trying to put her down.

So, by holding her for her naps, is doing this messing up her sleep training in any way like trying to fall asleep at night? Should I try to put her in her crib for her naps like we do at night to go to sleep? Or should holding her for her naps be okay as long as I stick to the sleep training at night?

Like I said, she's been doing great so far except for the falling asleep. I don't expect her to be a pro already at putting herself to sleep, but I don't know if I'm messing her up with holding her for her naps or if I need to stop doing that so she can better sleep train. Thank you mamas for your advice!

Oh and please no judging! I'm aware sleep training isn't for everyone and some people see it as mean, but for us, it seems to be what's best for mommy, daddy, AND baby too as far as getting more sleep and not being up one another's ass from being sleep deprived.

Thanks!
