Gush of fluid

I'm nearly 17 weeks now and I have a lot of mucus discharge. This is a first pregnancy so I have no clue what's normal. Throughout my pregnancy I have constantly felt so "wet" down there and will often have a gush of fluid/mucus. It's white in my underwear...is this normal?
