The best birth control?

Hi, i am planning to be put on birth control soon and I have a few options on what to have and I am undecided. Theirs pills, shots, etc. i just really want to hear opinions. I'm 18 years old and sexually active. I don't know if some birth control would affect you differently or how it would but I'm curious.

I am 18 and sexually actively as well. I'm on the pill! The only thing about he shot is that it affects people different. You could never have a period or you could have it for 6 months straight(happened to a friend). The pill just gives period regulation but if you know you won't keep up with the pill, go for the shot. Although this app has a reminder you can set for yourself to take the pill every day

I'm on the IUD! I love it because I don't have to think about it and I have 10 years coverage (I have the non-hormonal copper one). Plus my insurance covered it. I had a heavier period for the first two to three months. After that though everything pretty much went back to normal. I don't have any cramps but every body is different. Insertion wasn't the most comfortable, but honestly it only is a minute of your life to get 10 years of a pregnancy free life.

I'm on the shot and I love it! I would have cramps to bad I almost died from the pain. Literally I got sent to the ER and I stopped breathing. But I'm on the shot now and it stopped everything

I've been on the pill, the implant and the shot. The shot has been the best and im currently on it. I get no period or spotting and no other side effects. Everyone's body is different though.
