Ladies with IUD knowledge please help me

I checked my iud strings and when looking for them i felt the bottom of the iud where the strings are attached! Umm idk if im supposed to feel that but i never have and ive had it for about 8 months now. Last week i was having reallly bad pains in my abdomen but now theyre gone.. im scared that my iud could have displaced and i fear pregnancy again! I have been having alot of unprotected sex these past two weeks and im freaking out!! Please tell if this is normal or not
