****************BABY VITAMIN RECALL**************

So yesterday I received a letter in the mail from Walgreens pharmacy stating that a prescription that I had received for my daughter was placed on recall. My heart dropped. I looked through the list and there it was. The polyvitamin liquid drops I give my now 4 month old daughter because I am breast feeding. The letter did not state why it was on recall. There was a 888 number I had to call to ask for any questions I had. I couldn't sleep that night I cried thinking that I gave my daughter these vitamins for her health and instead I gave her some poison! I called at 8am and I was on hold for 3 hours! But I stayed patient because I needed answers ! Finally someone picked up and I told her about the letter I have received and asked her if I should be concerned. She said that the brand has been recalled due to a possible contamination of bacteria that is known to cause death in large amounts. She said I need to look out for my daughter to see if she has a fever, cough, or shortness of breath. They asked me if I wanted a refund and a kit sent to my house so I can send them the vitamins for testing of the bacteria. Seriously? A refund? What about my daughters health and life?? She seemed not to have the slightest concerned and didn't really care for how I was feeling nor reassured me or anything. Now I'm just laying here crying worried about what could go wrong. I'm so sad 😢💔
