Mastitis *TMI*
I'm currently sitting in the shower with scorching hot water pouring over my chest, because I'm in so much pain.
I'm still BFing my 18 month old and when we're out and about he usually doesn't have any daytime feelings, so my the end of the day my breasts are usually engorged.
My left breast had been aching slightly and hen by the time 10pm rolled around it felt like I was being stabbed in the boob.
Ive been sitting in the shower for over an hour massaging my breast and applying a hit washcloth, my breast feels heavy and I can feel the lump on the outside edge.
I started trying to express milk and finally started getting some thick almost lotion-like constitency out of one pore of my nipple, and immediately started feeling relief.
Question is, does this sound like mastitis, has anyone ever experienced this thick pus/milk?
