kidney issue at 20 week sonogram - soft marke

Hi all,

I had my 20 week sonogram and doctor saw that one of my baby boy's kidney was retaining urine. Said it wasn't a huge deal and is common esp in boys. Think it's called Fetal Hydronephrosis. Said they will monitor it and it may go away on its own. If not it would require antibiotics and/or surgery after birth. Wasn't feeling too scared about it til I got home and googled it and saw it could be a soft marker for Down syndrome. Seems like it's maybe only marker for downs if other things also point to downs - I did totally fine on my previous test for Down syndrome. So I know I shouldn't worry but of course I am. Did anyone else have this issue and if so how did it turn out? Was your baby ok?
