Making it worse!?

I'm 24 weeks pregnant. Last ultrasound the doctor told me that my baby had a hole in his kidney and it didn't allow him to get all his urine out like necessary but not to be worried cause this issue usually fixes itself before baby is born. My sister and her boyfriend smoke. And I hate being around it not only for baby's sake but for mine too. I just can't stand the smell and it makes it hard for me to breathe. I was just curious if the exposure to second hand smoke could make my baby's kidneys worse or hinder them from from fixing by theirselves. Please help!!
