Conflict Anxiety?

Makayla

I've been anxious for years, but never saw a counsellor until I developed a chronic illness about two years ago. Now that I've generally come to terms with life and I am just now feeling back to normal, I've noticed I still get an anxiety attack maybe once or twice a month. My psychiatrist doesn't want to prescribe me medication because it seems to be conflicts that cause me to become more anxious, and not having a resolution makes it worse.

Does anyone else have conflict anxiety? How do you cope in situations that require you to wait for a resolution, or in situations where the resolution is not what you've hoped for?
