How long did your induction take?

I'm a FTM (so if you were induced with your first, then please share cuz I know it can be different/longer for your first), scheduled to be induced Tuesday 9/5 at 41+1. They are skipping the gel in the cervix since I'm already 3cm dilated and 50% effaced. I'm wondering how long the process might take from when I get started to birth. I know it's different for everyone, so just wondering how long yours took?

Not myself, but my sister was induced at 5 am and had my niece by 2:30ish pm. She was 2cm dialated before inducing

20 hours total after start of pitocin. 15 hours after my water broke.

Induced at 41 weeks using cytotec in my cervix at 6pm. Was 2cm 60% effaced. 6am no change so I was started on pitocin. By 2:30pm I was 7cm dilated so I got an epidural and they broke my water. 4:30pm started pushing and had my baby 9:42pm that night vaginally. So I guess 27-28hours I was induced for and only in labor for 15-16hours.

I started Monday night and didn't have my baby until Wednesday night. I was 39+1 but had 3 iffy NST so we decided to induce. I got 2 doses of cytotec Monday night and started pit Tuesday morning. It didn't do shit. So I could either go home, have a c section, or start over. So had two more doses of cytotec Tuesday night and re started pit Wednesday morning. Was almost maxed out on pit at 22 and I was FINALLY 1cm dilated. As soon as the dr broke my water it went by a lot faster. Although contractions on 28  of pit hurt like a million times worse so I got the epi which I sooo didn't want. But it was amazing. Pushed for 1 hr and didn't even break a sweat, but tore In 3 places. Just had my 6 week check today and everything is good. Just relax and pee before they break your water so you don't have to use a bedpan before the place a foley (if you get the epi) GOOD LUCK! It's all worth it 👍🏻

Went into the hospital at 9:00.... started the pitocin and broke my water and baby was delivered at 1:20. First baby and she 7lbs 9ozs. I was 39 weeks and 4 cm dilated when they started the induction. Good luck!

I was 11 days late when they induced me. I was induced at 5pm on a Thursday my son was born 10:55pm on Friday. Good luck hun

I was induced at 37 weeks due to high blood pressure. They started me on cytotec at 2 am to get me to 3 cm which I was by 8 am ( not active labor it just felt like cramps) 8:30am they broke my water and gave me pitocin and I delivered my daughter at 4:28pm

I was induced at 9am, waters went at 7pm when I was 10cm by midnight, but then he was stuck so pushed for 4.45 hours then they gave me forceps episiotomy. So if he hadnt of been back to back and stuck it would of been fairly quick. Good luck with your birth x

I was induced 10 days overdue with my first.... I think my body was ready though I lost my mucus plug the morning of induction scheduled at 6:00 pm that day.....contractions were pretty painful until 4/5 centimeters and I got my epidural and the rest was cake! Had my girl early that morning 😊 it was a good experience for me actually much easier than my second birth where I wasn't induced!! Though both were amazing experiences in different ways.
