Parents That identify as Non Binary

For parents that identify as they/them and have kids/want kids, what will your children call you? Please let me know if this post is offensive so I can take it down.

Most people I know think of cute nicknames and made up terms instead of having one that all nonbinary parents might use, but it's just a matter of personal preference.

Off the top of my head honestly I can't think of many. Using names seems common though? Like I know of someone who uses Maz/mazzy as a short versions of Marilyn

I think you meant non binary,Some are okay with using mom/dad. I've also heard of some using a combo of mom and dad (mada is pretty common in my personal experiences), but it's up to the person really

Yeaa that's really cute, kinda like what babies first words sound like anyway when they try to say mama to dada.

Or if I marry someone who's not a cis woman or doesn't identity as a woman I guess ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I'm not, but there's a parent in my mommy group that is non-binary. They and their partner go by Boo and Bam ๐Ÿ˜Š I think it's soooo cute!

I'm a parent, and someone who identifies as non binary, and I'm totally comfortable being called Mom. I feel like I earned it. But I also don't use they/them pronouns because I was never too bothered by being called she/her. It all comes down to the comfort of the individual. If "Mom" or "dad" doesn't suit a non binary person, they could come up with their own name. :)

My partner is non binary and uses they/them pronouns and there son calls them mom I'm genderfluid and I'm okay with being called mommy or some variation of mom but it always turns into a mix of mommy and dad ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜‚

I'll probably use mum, (mad if I'm feeling festive) I've heard of pari as in parent before and guard as in guardian

That's so cute ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'm not nonbinary but I think being called Dad or something would make me feel weird so renny would be cute. Plus my name is ren so, makes sense lol

I'm not sure how this relates to raising a child gender neutral?

The parents themselves are gender neutral/nonbinary, not the kids. It's just about what the kids refer to their parents as if they don't identify as men or women

I'm not a parent, but I know that there are parents who go by baba. I've also see a few posts about rented/rennie/rent.
