Any Ideas?? {Help!}

So my SO and I have been dating for almost a year, and he doesn't even touch me when I'm on my period. The past couple of months it has really started to becoming a issue but I keep "sweeping it i under the rug" hoping the issue will resolve itself, because the last time I brought it up he kept saying how he didn't think it should be that big of a deal... This past weekend I was on it and I so graciously gave him a BJ and after he just kinda kept "falling asleep." I don't know what to do I love him but I just want him to understand how upsetting it is. Any ideas??
