Family vehicle??

Question

I just sold my car and am needing to upgrade to a bigger vehicle to accommodate 2 babies with carseats. We are on a pretty tight budget so I'm looking at older used SUV's and vans. Nothing older than 2007 or 2008 though. Is there anyone that could recommend a make or model of vehicle?? Something that you have found reliable and spacious. Thankyou!!

I have a 2010 Ford Edge and LOVE IT. It had right at 100k miles on it and after it's paid off we would have paid around $8,500 for it. And it's definitely spacious

Before we had baby 3 and due feb 18 for baby 4 we had a Ford Edge as a family car. It is super nice we got the limited for 10500? Leather seats, moon roof, heated seats, everything. And the trunk is huge! Hubby uses it as a work truck now 😫 beautiful car. Amazing space.

Toyota Sienna or Honda Odyssey! Best minivans for lasting for a while, well known to go over 200,000 miles. Also I love SUV's but I went with a minivan after trying to get kids in and out in a tight space without the door hitting the vehicle next to me. Much more room to load and unload with sliding doors and you don't have to worry about hitting anyone with the doors. Even if I'm careful, my kids definitely aren't. 
I'll go back to an SUV after my kids are older.

We just bought a 2015 f-150 for my family vehicle. The back seats in the newer f-150s are huge! I believe the older models like the 2012s and up are close to the same for space. A lot of suvs I test drove I couldn't fit in the middle seat between two car seats so for our trips I wouldn't be able to sit in the back and feed the kids. I love the truck, put a tonneau cover on it and you have more cargo room than any SUV.

We have a chevy traverse.  It is only two years old, low mileage and upgraded so it was 22k but you can find nice older models for a lot cheaper.

For an older vehicle I'd trust Toyota the most. Our Corolla is a 2009 and is basically maintenance free other than the 6month standard oil change, despite having over 150k miles. Toyotas are amazing! We also have a newer Highlander and love it. The Highlander would easily fit 2 car seats in the back with room to spare. It gets good gas mileage for an SUV and it's on a Camry chassis so it's incredibly easy to drive.

we have 2 in car seats and made the switch from suv to mini van last year. ours is a honda odyssey...kids love it!! its been great with all the room and thankfully no major repairs ( just oil changes)

We bought a used 2016 town and country and we love it. It comes with leather seats and 2 disc DVD player. All the back seats stow. Best decision we ever made. For vans I recommend buying a used rental that way their isn't too much damage or too many miles.
